What does NSFAS appeal approved mean

NSFAS Appeal Approved Status means that you have been provisionally approved pending final approval from NSFAS. Students are urged to continuously track their NSFAS status on their myNSFAS portal as there is no set date or how long it takes for for an appeal to be approved.

How to track your myNSFAS application status: 

1. Log in to your myNSFAS account on the myNSFAS student portal here
2. Enter your username and password and sign in
3. Click on Track Funding Progress

Applicants who have unsuccessful applications are allowed to appeal their NSFAS application within 30 days of being denied funding.
