Where to find Appeal Tab On myNSFAS Portal

If you want to appeal your NSFAS outcome but the appeal tab is not visible it means that you are not yet able to appeal your application. Applicants are only allowed to appeal once the appeal tab is visible.

This does not mean that you will never be able to appeal, as students are urged to continuously check the myNSFAS portal to check whether the Appeal tab becomes visible or not.

If your appeal is approved, you will still need to monitor your myNSFAS and wait for the outcome of your appeal.

In order to access your application status:

1. Login on the myNSFAS student portal here.
2. Enter your username and password, then click SIGN IN!
3. Click on Track Funding Progress.

After following these three steps, you’ll be able to see whether you are funded or not.
